I've purchased several of their products in the past. This particular mat is very loud and is noticeable when using my laptop while on the phone.

It does the job (I can tell because the laptop's internal fan goes off after a short time), but it's noisy and occupies a USB port while it's running. So it's fine but I don't LOVE it.

Maybe even more of the functionality. It’s basically 2 basic fans to assist with keeping laptop temps low. Great if you constantly have your laptop sitting on the bed and stuff. But takes up a entire USB port on your laptop which is limiting and laptop battery. I didn’t search very much before buying it of other products that would be more efficient and useful.

It ran fine for a little while with no problems but then it became really noisy, to the point I chucked it into the box of old spare stuff to repair on a rainy day. I finally got around to taking it apart and re-oiled the bearings in the 2 fans and it stayed quiet for a while before starting to get noisy again. Not what I expected from Targus, especially for the price. It worked okay in a pinch but I won't be buying another one.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not the most efficient cooling pad, but it does what it should. The Fans are more loud than my pc but it’s helped bring down my GPU AND CPU temps almost 10 degrees Celsius So it’s not a big deal.
