One of the 2 fans died after about 4 months but I still use it to lift laptop off my lap. And I use it upside down so the 4 little feet lift laptop up a bit to pull air through the sides. I think this one and all the other available ones seem overpriced for 2 little usb fans encased in plastic.

No power switch. Weak fan

The fan on it is pretty weak and there is no on or off switch so in order to turn it off it has to be completely unplugged. Would've been more convenient with some kind of switch

Posted .Our chill mats have a limited 1 year warranty. Please contact our customer support team at 877-482-7487 Monday thru Friday 10 AM to 7 PM EST. They will be happy to take a closer look and see if the issue with the fans being weak would be covered under the warranty.

The fan speed simply does not accelerate enough, only giving out a very small output of air. Most likely this is fine for non-demanding applications on a minimalist notebook, but for my needs, I'll be going with the Targus 4-Port USB Hub Chill Mat. That product had adequately cooled my laptop in the past for hours and no issues.
