Does what it’s supposed to. Not as powerful as I was hoping but still helps to cool down my laptop some. Would recommend but would check out other offers first. This wasn’t my first choice but the others were sold out. Better than nothing for the price range, but not the best for the price range.

Very easy to use. I use this with my new laptop and it is always perfectly cool. A little loud at times but not very noticeable.

just the right accessory to keep my Dell laptop cool while working. only wished it had a tilt function.

Out of the laptop fans I have used, this is the best one I have used by far. Though my experiences in fans haven't been have much, (3) this is the one that I believe to be the best at cooling my laptop down. Because it has holes throughout the top of the platform it can spread the wind all through out the bottom of the laptop instead of other fans than only have openings at the location where the fan is placed. I find that those fans just cool that area and no where else. So I would highly recommend this to others. Works fine and nicely, the only thing you would have to deal with is the slight noise it makes, but don't all fans do that? Lmbo

I bought this fan because the internal fan on my old laptop stopped working and so the laptop was overheating shutting itself down. We didn't want to replace the fan, but needed to get a few more years out of this laptop. The external fan did the trick. While it is thicker than i would have preferred, it works easily and quietly. I would buy it again and would recommend it to others.

Love the cooling fan for my laptop. It works great and keeps everything really cool - I never have to worry about it overheating anymore and it was reasonably priced.

I put this under my lap top computer. the usb plug suits me fine and the mat keeps my laptip cool during loads

It helps my laptop to not overheat! My laptop would get so hot that I would start sweating just from resting my wrist on it. Now I can use all day long and not get worried about my laptop overheating. I have pets and at least once a month I have to vacuum the fan to continue working properly.

Since soon after the start of the pandemic, I've been using an external camera (Sony ZV-1) for videoconferencing on my home computer. Over the last few months, the camera had been overheating rapidly. I now set the camera on a small tripod on top of this mat - and problem solved - no overheating with 2-3 hours of camera use. The fan is very quiet and is not audible by other people on the videoconference.

Pretty straight forward cooling platform. Not to noisy at all. Plugs j to your device for power. Not batteries needed

Very easy to use. Plug it into a USB port and it powers on! Can be a bit loud at times but I use this for my gaming laptop while streaming or playing heavy processing games. Definitely a required purchase if you use a gaming laptop. Just wish it was a bit quieter.

I use an engineering laptop that gets very hot while running some CPU-intensive software. I had and older version to use with my personal laptop, and picked this one up hoping it'd work here too. It may be a little loud as reported by other reviewers, but I no longer feel like I could cook bacon on my keyboard!

I bought this to cool my laptop, but ended up just placing it next to my gaming rig to keep the gpu cooler for now. Seems to be pretty decent for what it is. I think it would be better if there were four fans and if you had the ability to mod the speeds.

I've purchased 3 of these in the past few years to use them on my aging laptops. The money spent on these Chill Mats is well worth the money considering how it extends the life of an aging laptop. Without these Mats, I don't think I'd be able to own a half dozen laptops (Win 7, Win 8 and Win 10) over the past several years. Yes, I keep my old laptops because I can get plenty of work out of them.

$29.99 is a steep asking price for what little you get here. I would advise putting that money toward a nice lap desk you can get on Amazon for a similar price. The only benefit this has is elevating your laptop a bit from your lap. The cooling is a joke, making this just an ill-fitted piece of plastic for elevation. So, considering this, a lap desk with cushioning and a built-in mouse pad is a much better buy. "Cooling": The fans are quiet, yes, but this is because they are weak. There is no way to change the speed. I tested CPU and GPU temperatures with HW Monitor in multiple settings and did not see a shred of difference with the fans on or off. Fit: This does not fit my 15.6 inch laptop. It is noticeably too small. It can hold the laptop up, but looks ridiculous. Overall design: I know that this is a lower price range, but this feels incredibly flimsy and poorly made. It just sucks battery power from your laptop with a USB plug-in as the only option.

Purchased for my wife’s MacBook Pro to keep it cool. The cooling fan is quiet and works well.
