I haven't really seen a huge amount of temp drop (maybe 2-3 degrees C), but it can't hurt to get the laptop off the table.

However listed dimensions do not account for the sloped edges of the fan mat, making a larger laptop (that still is with in the advertised use range) spill over and slightly unstable.

An associate helped me look at a couple of different options. I chose this and I am extremely happy with it. As the computer is charging I plug the Dual Fan Chill Mat into the computer and it does the trick and keeps it cool. Love it!

Now after having it for awhile it does help mitigate the heating issues I was having my laptop. At this price (~ $20) I can say I am happy with my purchase.

It's definitely not worth more than what they're asking and a temporary solution at best I wouldn't recommend this product. It's too bad Best buy doesn't have a superior alternative available where I live.
