They didn't last long before they freeze up and fail. All 3 were loud. This one same model same brand is quiet and has lasted longer than all 3 put together.

It has done a fine job of keeping my computer from over heating. I have had this product before

Does Great Cooling Job

Now, with my cooling mat, I know the life will be greatly lengthened. The price was very reasonable, especially when compared with the price of replacing the computer. The plastic that it is made from feels cheap. When you plug it in, it does blow air. I feel however that this is something I probably could've made myself. I would spring the extra $20 for the one that can sit on your lap.

The internal fans on the PC are no longer spinning up. This unit is quiet and sits at a nice angle for comfort.
