I purchase this dual fan lap chill mat cooling system for my grandson school laptop computer. It works great! It not to loud and it keeps his laptop cool while using it during school hours. So glad this is the one I brought.

Really like this pad. Two strong fans that are super quiet (not silent). The fans are right in the middle so I have to shift the laptop over to line up the vent and fan but the usb cord is plenty long enough to do it without having extra cord in the way. I've had two other pads and this one is definitely my top choice for the price

This "chill mat" is very useful when using my laptop on my lap (as opposed to at a desk or table. Thus far, I have not felt the need to take advantage of the built-in fans. The only complaint I have is that, while it "holds most laptops up to 17"", it is not as wide or as deep as my 17" Dell computer. This is odd because the 15" chill mats used by my wife & son are as large as the laptop.

Keeps my computer with fan issues from overheating. I use my laptop, and thus this mat, for full workdays, and it feels comfortable on my lap - even while wearing shorts!

The mat works well. The fan is very quiet and overall, the mat is not heavy.

I bought this because my laptop was heating up. It is really good at cooling but does make a lot of noise, its not unbearable but still can be annoying at times. There are no light indicators to tell if it is really working or not. It does however is big enough for a 15.6 inch laptop and the velvety plastic base is a nice touch.

Like how comfortable it is on the lap. Laptop fits just right and cools it just fine.

This was a replacement for a very old Targus fan which had a broken power connector. This fan is improved because one end of the USB power connector is hardwired into the unit and can be stored away in its own little area. The padded bottom sits comfortably in my lap and will not mar hard surfaces. My only complaint is that whomever wrote the specs on the Best Buy site has no idea what they are doing, because the fan speed is listed as 2 RPM (which would be barely moving). The dual fans actually run a whole lot faster; enough to keep the laptop running cool, and they are very quiet. The warm air underneath the laptop is drawn in from the top of the unit (which is directly under the laptop) and flows out through each side.

It works good to prevent heating from your laptop when you using for long terms. The only thing is that it does not come with extra usb chargers and the price is a little high for this one, i recommend it but is old kind of fan dashboard and is not advanced.

This has been effective in keeping my laptop from being hot.

They don't call notebooks laptops because they are not designed to sit in your lap. They vent out hot air to keep the CPU and Motherboard cool which heats up the case and can be very uncomfortable in your lap. But who wants to sit in a chair at a desk to use a portable notebook? This laptop mat is perfect for keeping you cool while balancing your notebook in your lap!

it works good, laptop doesn't get as hot. The cushion bottom makes it very comfortable

It keeps my laptop cool. It has rubber to keep my computer set in place without worrying if my laptop will slide around.

Picked this up on sale and while it looks nice and gives a bit of height to your laptop the fans are inadequate and wothout adjustable controls didnt seem to have much impact on the temp of my old macbook

The Targus dual fan lap chill mat cooling system is great. Its so quiet you don't even know it's on. Really helps to keep the laptop cool after using it for long periods of time.

This laptop chiller works great. It's comfortable on my lap and fans are quiet
