Literally just got it in the mail, and part of the rubber grip was already gone. I don't know whether to blame Best Buy or Targus. Either way, really disappointed.

keyboard does not work regarding wireless distance must be within 1-foot of the router/laptop or will drag/slow response to mouse or keyboard strokes.

If its for gaming this cooliny pad dont produce a spec of air for anything. Dont buy this garbage just order a better one of Amazon

This is the first time I brought a laptop cooler when I just became a recent owner of a laptop just for school. It was a perfect size for my 14 inch laptop. Installation was really simple, all you had to do was plug in the USB cord to the cooler to the laptop and it starts immediately and powers off when you shutdown your computer. I don't like the fans, the two fans do not seem to keep my laptop as cool as I expected but it works. Overall its better than not having it

this does a terrible job at cooling my laptop. I had to purchase one from amazon with more fans.

Just bought a new laptop that has a high-end graphics card, lots of memory, etc. I thought it would be a good idea to have a cooling pad to keep it from having to strain to keep cool. It seems to be working well, so far. I expect that like all of the cooling pads I have ever bought (over 30+ years), it will need to be replaced before the laptop, but it is quiet and keeps the laptop from running hot.

The fans are not very powerfull. Plus the wind is sucked away, the fans are pulling air out from under the laptop. Two main issues: 1. Fan power inadequate. 2. Sucking air away instead of blowing air in, so laptop fans could suck that cool air in. Product build quality is very good. Recomended to buy ONLY for productivity, not gaming.

I first got the Cooler Master X Slim and it was fantastic and a cheap price! My legs were actually cold using it. But then it broke within 3 weeks. Its main problem is the casing isn't rigid enough to handle grabbing both the laptop and the cooler. Also the power cord can get tangled in the fan when squeezed. So then I got the Targus for twice the price. It sends probably 25% of the airflow compared to the Cooler Master, so my laptop is still fairly warm, but at least it's off my legs. The rigidity and constructtion is great, but the point is -- did it cool the laptop? The answer is: not that much (compared to something else). I'd say keep looking.

Great product, fantastic price, quick shipping. This product not only helps keep your laptop cooler, it's great when on your lap in bed or sitting. A bargain for those whom never tried one! Mine sits atop my Dell laptop 15"+ screen also purchased from BB. Compare price, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this cooling pad because my laptop always over heats and will shut down if i don't allow it to cool down. The pad helped, but it would be a lot better if the cord was longer especially since I paid $40 for it.

It cools, but the fans have little to no speed which means the cooling is only very minimal. If you only need a little heat reduction, this product is great! But if you're buying a chill mat, you probably need massive heat reduction because your laptop is overheating and shutting down. Thus mat will NOT help thatmuch and your computer will still run too hot. The search continues.

This mat *exactly* fits my 15" computer - it would be too small for my 17" one. It also is very slippy on the bottom - when I'm typing I'm pushing the computer around on my desk. It's better on the lapdesk b/c it's felted, but it's annoying. It should have better rubber feet on both sides. It's not noisy, as other reviews say it is - just a soft hum. I'm really on the fence as to whether I'll keep it - I cannot use it with the laptop it was intended for.

Works well. Wish the fan speed were a bit stronger.

my laptop fans is not working very well. Sometimes the computer goes on standby mode because of the high temperatures. But with the help pf this fan, that doesn't happen anymore : )

this is perfect. very quiet, comfortable on your lap and it cools very well

I bought this because it was on sale for $9.99, and I'm really glad I didn't pay any more for it. The fans are quiet enough, but they barely move enough air to feel it. Specs say this works with laptops up to 17 inches, but my 15-inch laptop overhangs each side by about an inch. Which would be OK if I was using it on a desk, but it's awkward moving it from my lap to my bag and back. The cord is almost too short to reach the USB port on the side of my laptop, and it wouldn't reach without putting strain on it on a laptop any larger than 15 inches. The door where the cord is stored has a slot that looks like you should push the cord into it when in use, but when I tried to do so it scuffed the insulation. In all, this is OK, but certainly not worth the asking price.

I used it with my 17 inch laptop that gets hot when using the graphics card. While it protected my lap from getting hot and fits easily in my bag since it is compact, it did not cool off the bottom of my laptop much at all. The bottom was still very hot. I returned it and purchased the Targus spacing saving cooling pad for 17 inch laptop instead since I really like Targus products. When I used the new one the bottom of my laptop was cool to the touch. I would recommend that one instead

Some people were saying the fans are noisy but I did not notice my fan at all. This is a great product.
