I bought this for my gf and she uses it ALL THE TIME. I'm going to get me one!

dont cheap out the fan is pretty weak but pretty good for just having it on your lap.

It's okay, laptop can slide off pretty easily and it really doesn't do a whole lot.

Good brand and good quality but I was disappointed that the USB plug is too snug (short - I have a 17" laptop) and the back foot for propping up easily flips closed when you move the mat in any direction. It does not lock in place. I would not recommend solely because of these two issues.

This mat cooling system should be good for small laptops up to 15", however, it doesn't help too much with bigger laptops and I still feel the heat after about 30 minutes.

My last cooling pad gave up the ghost and I thought I would try this one. After getting it home I found it barely moves any air via the two fans. You have to hold your hand right over the fan to feel any air movement... certainly not enough to push cool air into your laptop. On the upside it is better constructed than my last one and a lot less slippery (my laptop is constantly slidding of the old cooler), and it is really quiet, but it doesn't really help cool....

this has a very weak fan on it, i was reading reviews from the manufactors compnay and alot of people agree with me. i'm kinda disapointed i know alot of people say they love it maybe i got a bad one? idk i'm going to see if i can exchange this one with a new one and if that doesnt work then i know its this particular prouduct i'll try to avoid.

It works really well to cool my gaming laptop, but the way the cord is positioned means that if you actually use it on your lap the cord will bend itself until it breaks. It lasted barely a month.

It's thin and lightweight, ideal for travel, however not too powerful. It's just OK, definitely not worth its full price.

Did not last very long. Bought in 2020, broke after warranty period ended. With service cost, I did not replace it. Would expect way better than a year. Previous products lasted much longer.

didn't cool my laptop at all. the fans were very weak and the air flow was not strong. wouldn't recommend. going to return tomorrow.

It works fine, but the specifications on best buy's web site says this has 4 USB ports. That is incorrect. It just has one USB connector to power the fans. No USB ports.

Worked great.... for two months. Now only one fan is working. Expected it to last longer than two months.

I bought this product because of the price. It was $10 on black Friday and recommended for laptops up to 17". My machine overheats a lot because I use software called AutoCAD which causes the machine to heat up. This cooling pad puts out almost no air flow. the only beneficial feature is that it can keep the laptop off of my desk. needless to say, my laptop still overheats a few times a day which forces me to wait at least 30 minutes for it to cool down. I'm now getting leary of Targus products as this is not their only terrible cooling pad they have out there.

It's barely cooling my laptop. I hear the internal laptop fan loudly increasing as time goes on using it, but the cooling pad isn't enough to help.

I got this because my old cooling pad stopped working well I replaced this new one twice because one fan stopped working and now my computer shuts off and says I have a heat warning. I know its the cooling pad because with my old one that didn't work (just used it to prop up my laptop for airflow) it never had that issue. Plus it left some weird white stuff all over my computer.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS A 0 STAR I WOULD, BUT I CANT SO I WILL GIVE IT A 1. THE DESRIPTION IN SPECIFICATIONS SAYS IT HAS 4 USB PORTS, IT DOES NOT. IT HAS 1 USB CORD TO PLUG INTO YOUR LAPTOP AND THAT IS IT. STOP LYING TO GET PEOPLE TO BUY THIS. UPDATE THE SPECS!

Bought this cooling fan last year after my old one finally broke. I thought that two fans would be better, but I was so wrong. Barely cools your laptop. Only fits 15" computers. I have had it for less than six months and has already broke. Probably broke long time ago but didn't notice cause like I said before, it hardly blows any air out at all.

If you tore a Kleenex in half and placed it on top of the fans you won't even see it move when you plug it in. Only gave $10 for it during Black Friday Sale of 2015, but I still classify this as one of the worst purchases I ever made. Useless for cooling a laptop, actually seems hotter. Targus stuff is usually good quality, but definitely not this piece.

I purchased this chill mat to help my laptop to prevent it from overheating. This mat only kept the heat in and caused the laptop to overheat quicker. I checked the air flow and could barely feel any air flow. Needless to say, this will be a returned item for poor performance.
