Keeps my laptop nice and cool and is comfortable on the lap

It's slightly louder than the fins built into my laptop does a decent job keeping it cool. It makes for a good laptop stand when it's not plugged in too

So far the chill mat has worked fine. I'm glad I bought it. However, there are additional features that would make the chill mat even better. For 1) There could be a longer usb cord, the installed usb cord is very very SHORT extending from the chill mat so that an extension usb cord is necessary to use. 2) An on/off switch for the chill mat would be nice. Without an on/off switch the chill mat "runs" all the time even when the computer is off.

Perfect size for my 17" Laptop - Cools enough... I wish it had setting with two speeds. Hawaii gets warm, so I would like the option to have it move more air. I know that would mean hearing it, but would still like that option.

I bought this pad for my daughter because her computer is always running hot as a result of minecraft and Skype running simultaneously while she's playing on it with her friends. It works well and keeps her computer cool. It comes with a built in Usb cord that plugs into the laptop. It works.

My laptop is couple of years old and heats up a lot.. So much that it'd get auto shut off due to excess heat.. After using this, it hasn't auto shut down yet.. Have used it for a month.. It's silent too..

The cooling fan works very well. It requires 1 USB a port for the fan to run. Lightweight and keeps the laptop cool.

I own several different Targus laptop cooling mats (different model #'s). All work well, but this one is the loudest by far. I purchased it because I liked the overall design, but when I went to use it for the first time, I realized that the USB cable is too short for my set-up, so I needed to attach a USB extension cable. As a result of these two issues, I cannot recommend this product.

Have had this for four months. I am completely satisfied with this product. Keeps my laptop cool and is also great at keeping my laptop in a comfortable position while using it.

Works well for keeping the computer cool and I like that it is very quiet. A keeper!

It works like it say it does but to me it got annoying because it was a thick laptop desktop and it made me sweat.

We purchased this for our son's laptop computer becasuse it was getting quite warm. This seems to keep it a bit cooler but let's be honest, he is on it constantly gaming so I doubt anything will keep the computer from the occasional crash. But it helps I guess.

This chill mat definitely helps keep my laptop cool, but it's too loud to use unless really need it; e.g. for heavy media processing or when my kids are playing a video game.

Fan delivers excellent performance and allows cooling foe extended laptop usage. Quiet and reassuring.

The Lap Chill Mat acts a laptop desk stablizing laptop while cooling laptop. It also helps to protect legs from heat of laptop. The lap chill mat does get warm but not hot.

This cool pad is very good. It is slim and lightweight. Previous cool pads I have had were thick and wouldn't fit into the carrying case with the laptop. You had to either leave it behind or carry it separately. This cool pad slips right in the case with the laptop no problem.

This mat is the right size for a 15" Dell G7 and may be helping a little. Unfortunately, unless Dell does something about their heating issues, this may be my last Dell machine.

Well designed and although lightweight, it is sturdy and the fans are strong and quiet. Also like that the input openings are on the sides, which due to the angled design capture cool air even though my laptop's air outlets are also on the sides. Also, the platform is only 15" but I'm able to position the laptop inlets directly over the fan outlets. Even though it does have the laptop is hanging over the back by about 1/2", it remains stable when I pick it up.

The unit seems to be sturdy and performs adequately. The USB power cable is concealed in a compartment beneath the cooler and must remain open to connect the USB power. It also elevates the laptop. I didn’t particularly care for the tilt. Unfortunately one cannot close the compartment because the USB cable will be pinched. One fan makes a slight vibration. A little pricey the the design. Wasn’t able to open the packaging prior to purchase. Bummer!!!
