Better then the other cooling system, less noise. a bit wider for a better fit for a laptop.

The Targus seems to do really well at keeping our laptops really cool and its quietness helps out a lot too.

Lightweight and easy to use. Do not recommend this if you're going to be gaming. It simply can't keep up with the 2 little fans it has and my laptop was still uncomfortably hot. Pushes the hot air out to the sides so if you're using a mouse, it's hitting your hand. I have to keep moving my hand further away and during gaming, that's not ideal for me. Got it on sale for a good price, will be returning.

The fans don't line up exactly with my particular laptop, but it does a reasonably good job of keeping airflow moving through the machine so it doesn't get too hot. Also has a comfortable pad that insulates my lap from any laptop heat.

I like for my laptop to be a LAP top and not make me hot while I am sitting in a chair and surfing through. It is good even when not plugged in and even better with the neat fan in warmer weather to keep my legs cooler.

I brought this for my kid who uses a laptop. The verdict is the card is rather short, doesn't really fit the laptop, airflow isn't very strong. It cool the laptop some, but wish it did more.

I am glad I bought this item. My laptop was getting really hot and instead of buying a new one and transferring info, I called a tech friend who suggested the cooling fan. It was not the orginal one I wanted, but I am happy with this one.

I purchased this for my mother as she has a tendency to set her laptop on a pillow, on her lap, which causes excessive heat buildup. The Targus resolved these issues and she has been quite happy with it. I gave it 4 stars due to the minimal air flow it provides, which seemed to work, but could easily be improved with increased fan speed.

We put this on an old laptop with windows Vista, It was running hot because of age & the original battery. This fan system has cooled it down & it appears to run better'

Great for keeping your lap cool! This works well to keep your laptop cool while working on normal system work. If you're running a high graphics program you may want an additional fan. Overall an awesome product.

Need to replace a failed cooler on a trip. Grabbed this one up and was off. Price was a bit high for a two fan unit bit it does cool. Not as well as others but it does Lee the heat off the thighs. Overall. It is an okay unit.

This unit is light weight and works well. Needs to have more airflow i.e, better fans, less plastic, maybe a rechargeable since most laptops are using less usb ports now?

I noticed my laptop getting warm/hot when used over 4 hours, the chill mat is excellent and I've not noticed any issues since using it. Great purchase!!
