My daughter was having problems playing some games on her laptop....downloading took awhile and the laptop would overheat. Rather than it overheat and blow up, get this laptop cooling pad. It does the trick! And Targus is famous name brand so we picked it because we've had good luck with other Targus items in the past. It works great! The only thing is I wish it came in a bigger size. My daughter's laptop was a little bigger, 19 inches, but it still served it's purpose well. Very dependable, saves on having to replace a laptop!

I love that this keeps my laptop cool. My old laptop used to overheat and I went through so many of these and this is the quietest one I've ever had.

easy to install as it fits right under the computer //.nice and quiet I have to check every once in a while to make sure it is running..i bought it as a replacement for one I had for many years and finally quit on me.

I own several different Targus laptop cooling mats (different model #'s). All work well, but this one is the loudest by far. I purchased it because I liked the overall design, but when I went to use it for the first time, I realized that the USB cable is too short for my set-up, so I needed to attach a USB extension cable. As a result of these two issues, I cannot recommend this product.

Bought this to keep my laptop on my lap. The mat is is lite and it keeps the laptop cool as well as my legs

Purchased this laptop cooling pad with a fan for my son when he was injured and unable to walk. Product worked great to cool his laptop and keep the heat away from his legs. It is not bulky and handles well on the go.

Not the most powerful fan lap system but it’s lightweight and the fans run quietly. It also works well on your legs.

The chilling mat is limited. It does not have additional ports. Therefore the functionality is limited. The cooling mat is quiet. Deborah R.

Does help keep the PC cool doesn't get warm like the other ones used to as badly worst a little bit of extra to save too much heat from your computer

The fan is doing a good job of keeping the laptop from getting too warm and provides a nice flat surface.

Very quiet fans, comfortable to hold laptop on legs without overheating, however the cooling fans don't line up with the exhaust ports of either of my laptops.

It is really important to keep the lap top cool. My wife left her laptop on the bed running hot and it crashed. I had to reload the software to get it up and running. This fan is quiet with a sleek profile.

It can cool my labtop quite well, with little noise. However it cannot be used on the desk because of the wire. wire makes the labtop like seesaw

I like this product because it does two things. (1) keeps my PC cool and (2) does not mark up my legs if I have the PC on them.

I like this I often have lap top on my lap and it keeps my lap top from falling. It is light so it doesnt make them too heavy, I havent tried fan yet but im sure it will help. I definitly suggest buying it.
