Stopped working after awhile

You plug the unit into a USB port and the 2 fans run. One fan stopped working after about 4 weeks, the other one makes a noise. Didn't do too much about it because it was only 10 bucks. Still use it.

Not great, I guess that I was expecting more. The last one that I still have I had bought for a bigger laptop (17"), it has dual fans with speed control USB connection. I would have bought something like it again if they had it for my 14" laptop. Pros - The fan is quite. almost don't hear it. It has a compartment to stow the USB cord. It provides a surface to insulate the computer from my body heat. Cons - The fan doesn't seem to do much. Can barely feel it. No place to channel the cord when plugged into the computer. The pad is big for a 14" laptop. Wish that there was something more designed for smaller laptops.

Doesn't line up with my computer vents

It conveniently plugs into my computer USB port so no batteries needed. But I didn't think to see that the fans line up with the computer vents. Thus my computer still seems to get overly warm IMHO.
