I like this cooling system for my lap top for its quietness. My last one got really noisey and this one is so quiet you don't realize it is on. Also you don't feel the cool air coming out the side like my last one did.

This cost about $20. I have only used it to position the laptop evenly on my lap. It's not made with quality material. Feels like it would snap in half or break within 3 months of constant use. I have not tried the fan yet because my laptop needed repair.

This is one of those items that serves its intended purpose and nothing more. I use this with a 15" MacBook Pro and it works great. The MacBook Pro's tend to get a little warm when sitting on your lap, with this cooler I have not had any issues with the laptop getting as warm.

This cooling pad is a genuine joke, I'd use harsher words but you know how some companies are. Fans do absolutely nothing but noticeably spin, they do not move even a store receipt, much less a feather. For 40+ bucks, this should be more than a glorified hunk of plastic. Not worth the money, not worth the effort being spent to return, buy a different model somewhere else. And no, Targus, I won't be wasting my time speaking to your bots, go away please.

This was a last ditch effort to revive an old laptop that was having problems overheating. The cooler works but doesn't move nearly enough air to be effective. It would be OK for general use but in that case it is highly overpriced. Use a small box fan instead, costs half the price and works great.

The cooling base was easy to install and stays well with the laptop.

I purchased this cooling fan for my laptop. Because the air intake is located on the sides of the device, I highly recommend this product. My previous cooling pads used a undermounted fan which trapped lint.

My 15.6 laptop sits great on it. It only has two positions, yet they are generic and comfortable enough for lap and desktop usage. When the fans are spinning as they should, the unit is relatively silent, but regretfully, at least my unit, 60% of the time, fans just start doing a cracking noise like if they were unbalanced... the cracking goes on / off, so clearly there must be something not tightening them right inside. Although when it works correctly is good and does make air flow underneath the laptop, I would recommend ordering other laptop cooling pad online instead of rushing to the store to buy this one.

It was a really good mat for the price. Unfortunately the power cable wasnt very sturdy. It pulled off easily after a couple months.

The fan in my laptop had stopped so I purchased this to allow me to do a little aork while waiting on a replacement. It worked great for this but it is a little loud

It helped for a while till my laptop finally died.
