This unit had some pretty good reviews so I thought I would give it a shot. Well, not only didn't it fix the laptop overheating issue, but there was literally NO air movement detectable. You can see and hear the dual fans spinning, but no air movement at all. Placed a piece of paper over the fan output area and nothing. Returned the unit after 2 days.

I figured a cooling pad would do it, so I bought this in the store. Put it under, plugged it in, confirmed the fans were spinning, and ran the software again. Yet again, crash. I had to resort to having a desk fan aimed at the computer, which let it cool off well enough to run the software. I needed it to keep my computer cool enough to run, it didn't, so one star.
