It didn't keep up with the heat buildup and ultimately failed at its job. (I have a 17" MacBookPro.) I had to return it. Maybe it would work on something that doesn't get warm.

Correct Design for Cooling Fan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the correct design for a cooling fan and it is amazing that other units don't follow this design formula: 1) Fans are quiet and provide proper cooling 2) Bottom has felt and fans blow air out from the sides (if they blow it into your lap that would be wrong since your lap would block the flow. 3) The top has little bumpers to ensure your unit is held in place. I use with a 11.6 inch 2/1 and it is wonderful since the battery on the inside of the bottom is a large flat disk and puts out some heat, this removes the heat build up. Great.
