However, I would rather have to work with impossibly stiff joints to get a stable shot, than shelf it for not being able to hold...well, anything. Just hold it by the top and shake it around a bit. I heard previous versions may have had more hold. Or perhaps I just got unlucky with this one. Either way, I'm looking elsewhere for my next bendy tripod.
