This product do not have power running through USB ports. I found a USB hub cheaper than this product that do have 100W power coming out of ports. Being overpriced and having no power going through ports is the reason is the reason I subtracted two stars. Otherwise I would have given this product 5 stars.

He is able to plug in his gaming keyboard and his gaming mouse to his Chromebook with this because it only has 1 USB-A port. The only drawback is because it uses the USB-C port he has to be sure his Chromebook is fully charged because that is also the port for his charger.

If you are interested in one that will enable him to also power his laptop when using the hub, can I suggest our USB-C Multi-Port Hub with Card Reader and 100w PD Pass-Thru. This will give him the USB slots for his keyboard and mouse and still allow him to be able to charge his laptop. I guess it's inevitable when they're trying to make them as thing as possible. However, this USB-C Hub solves all issues. It provides 4 stable, reliable, and fast connection ports.

Works ok, but hard to plug into Mac

The USB C plug doesn't seem to fit just right and takes some effort to get it to plug in. Once plugged in the Hub seems to be working ok.
