Just the right size for school. I did not want to carry around a shoulder bag or a large backpack. The Targus Octace allows me to carry what I need and my coffee mug as well.

It is causal backpack for laptop with enough padding. it has different compartments to store computer accessories, It also has good size pockets for other things. But it is not a very durable bag as I expected. Bought it on sale and still worth $$.

I use this everyday. I’m a nursing student and this holds everything I need to take to clinicals. Laptop, notebooks, stethoscope, and my switch lite (for break time).

Great material, strong, and perfect size for my gaming laptop and accessories. Only thing it misses is a sturdy place for my controller lol.

Great Product. This is a simple back pack that provides all of the essential pocketing that is necessary. It also comes with two water bottle holders which is a plus.

I purchased the Targus Octave Backpack for an Acer Nitro 15.6". The bag is nicely padded but not for extreme use, Targus claims all backpacks come with water resistant coating, just in case of light rain. The 15.6" laptop fits well and also has another inside pocket suitable for smaller ipad or tablet. There is still room for about another 1 " or 2" thick item. Carrying handle and shoulder straps seem strong. An HP 14" Chromebook also fit perfectly in main compartment. A couple of zippered pockets on outside and 2 mesh pockets for water bottles makes it a nice school bag.

The inner pouch to place a laptop is not that padded. This is lightweight and works well for its purpose. There is only one zipper for the pockets, two would have worked better to be able to zip from either side.

This is not a big one. But when you only put your laptop in, the backpack seems very slim. Light weight as well. Very pleased. Very good price when promotion is going on.
