This suits better, now that he has to carry a laptop around all the time, and since it's smaller, he can't pack so much stuff in it to make it so heavy. (Less is more, right?) Ordered online for pickup, and it was ready within the hour.

The padding at the bottom of the backpack is quite thin so you still have to be careful to not toss the backpack against the floor.
