The padding is minimal and should be treated as such when carrying your valuable devices. There is some padding, but the padding at the bottom is thin and will not protect well against dropping from any significant height. I suggest putting any laptops or iPads in a protective sleeve inside this product to help ensure your device is properly protected. You get what you pay for here.

The only thing it’s that they could improve the bottle holder for a better grip. Totally worth it for the price!

Fantastic for laptop or traveling.

The padding isn't super thick so you still need to be careful if you drop it with delicate items. However, it's worked flawless using it for work and traveling. The side mesh pockets are great for water bottles or tumblers. There are more pockets than I know what to do with.
