The zipper pouch on the side also has ample room for mouse, charging cord and other accessories. The padding is a tad light which means it may not protect your laptop as well as a more padded model or possibly a hard case.

So I have to be careful putting it in the case or it won't fit. It does have lots of cushion on the inside so I feel my laptop is protected.
