While it does fit the dimensions it blocks the buttons & the port to charge the device. It kept shutting the device off.

Posted .We are sorry to here that the Universal tablet did not work out with the design of the latest Kindle Fire. It is unfortunate but does happen because although Universal in fit there are times when different tablets will have a button/port placement that is different and may not work with the design of the case.

Unfortunately, when i got home i realized the case covered the on/off switch on my Kindle Fire. When i returned it to the store i was charged a $10 fee for taking the case "out of the box. " before returning it. I was charged $10 for taking the word of their salesperson who said it would fit.

Most devices have either power or volume buttons where they go which caused my Kindle Fire 8 go to mute unless I am unattached that corner. On the plus side, it does keep it very safe.

I will hold it, but the on/off butt lines up with one of the corners and the tablet stays on. If you turn it off, the corner is bulky and turns it back on...
