Chill Mat saved my lap

My puppy also chewed on the hookup cord. I was getting marks on my legs from holding the laptop on my lap. The marks were caused by the heat the laptop was generating. Since using this product I no longer get the marks and the ones that I did get have gone away!!

They seem to last for a while and then suddenly the fan starts making a lot of noise. We'll see what happens with this. Older models included extra usb ports which was a nice feature. None of the newer ones seem to have that. Pity.

Sometimes it's noisy

More than does what I need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I mastered the considerable learning curve from Vista, I've enjoyed having the larger screen and super speakers, which means I don't need externals for watching movies or listening to music. I'd love a fitted cover for the touchpad space, though, as my thumb pads constantly rub over it when I'm typing...I keep my Geek Squad card on it to help reduce that, but a detachable cover would be a really nice extra.
