I would recommend it to others. The two fans are silent:: but I can not hear very well. I use my two hearing aids when with my children and their children. Great for the intended purpose. Go buy it Now!

It keeps the laptop running cool but since there's no USB ports you can kiss one of USB ports goodbye. Will need a usb hub If you have USB accessories like wireless mouse and keyboard and you still wanna play and flash drives. Just a minor nock considering it does do its job great and keeps the temp down. No regrets buying it.

This chill mat is easy to set up and works fine for a while. However, after about 3 weeks, mine started to make grinding noises when I plugged in the fans. The noise goes away after a while, though.

The description calls it a "mat", but it's much more than that. It's almost as sturdy as a small table or breakfast tray. It plugs into a laptop which would drain the battery quickly, so keeping the laptop plugged in makes sense. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and have recommended it to all my family members.

Quite.. so very quite compared to another brand's that I had before. Very easy, just set laptop on top, plug in USB port and there you go. My laptop is about 60% cooler than if I used nothing and 40% cooler than if I was still using other brand. Very reasonably priced, and helps the computer's lifespan.

like the ease of use Didn't know of this product until I purchased a new laptop. It was a suggestion to me. I was using trivets. This is so much better with a fan and is more stable. I like that it comes on and shuts down with the computer

The chill mat definitely does what it is intended to do. My son uses it and likes the fact that his laptop tray no longer feels hot. It is also adjustable, so you can angle it for better viewing.

Had a older laptop computer that kept overheating, losing performance and no one could find the solution. My wife bought me one of these and, viols ! no more problems in that department. And, that was two years ago. I feel the chill pad has extended the laptop's life even more now !

Bought it because my Toshiba core I5 laptop CPU runs hot and some more detailed video games(ie. Simcity 2013, Star Wars the Old Republic) were shutting down while playing. So, Geek Squad member reccomended this item to cool the CPU. Since using it for my gaming, I have had no such problems.

This equipment is easy to use, easy to set up, works well with my laptop. My laptop is very large and more like a portable computer than a laptop but this little chill mat fits my big laptop (17" and then some), just fine. It says it could fit a 17" lap top on the packaging and it does.

What could be simpler than a device that needs no adjustment, weighs nearly nothing, and keeps your laptop from burning out. No manual is necessary. As a latter-day Luddite, it demands I possess no special skills to operate. Technology continues to demand less of the user. Yay!!

Although the cooling mat seems efficient and very quiet, my laptop needs a new fan so can't quite do the trick for the inner workings. I would and have recommended it.

One of the best purchases I've made has kept my laptop cool no matter how long I use it. I also like the fact that I can use different angles to set up my laptop. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective and efficient cooling fan for a laptop.

This is my second unit. The first unit developed a noise, possibly a bearing in the fan assembly. It was exchanged with no problem and the new one works great.

I purchased this for my laptop so that I had a surface to put it on when I'm using my laptop in bed or at a hotel. It works great. My laptop fits perfectly and it does exactly what I wanted it to do.

This is a good quality chill mat. It can also serve as a desk slant support and the fans are powered by USB. Packs easily and doesn't take up much space.

Bought this on sale, but had to return. Product was fine for the most part, but covered the on off button on my particular laptop. Otherwise a decent product.

The cost was very reasonable compared to repair cost and computer downtime. Have used for 30 days satisfactorily replacing the computer fan that broke.

It's great because it keeps are circulating for the computer to not 'over-heat.' You have to plug it into a USB port. Definitely a great product. Another great thing is that it elevates the laptop, putting the keyboard at a slant. This makes typing easier.
