This product makes a great gift and improves life of computer cooling fans!

My last Targus cooling mat died when the flimsy power cord broke after a few months (I just read in the reviews that this is a current problem and occurrence, wish I knew before!), so I bought this model when Best Buy employees assured me it would fit a 17 inch laptop. It also says so on the packaging, but in the real world, it is much too small for that size and my laptop was not secure. Plus because of the size problem, the specific places on the computer that tend to overheat were nowhere near the two fans, which by the way are pretty weak anyway, more like a weak breath of air from a dying person than a cool refreshing breeze. When I tried to position the laptop differently, it would just collapse backwards or sideways. Infuriating waste of time, had to return it a day later. Really mad that Targus and Best Buy wasted my time and my gas in this way. DO NOT BUY THIS if you want REAL cooling air AND your computer is 17 inches. Now I'm back to square one, looking for a cooling mat that actually does something and is really the right size...

I use this with another laptop pad that has an extension for the mouse. .

Gets the job done. Keeps the laptop from overheating. Great investment!

Suitable for cooling, decent price, I'd hope there is better on the market. Box states it fits a 17" laptop, but it is really small. No speed control, but it does run very quietly.

It is very quiet. My computer still gets really hot though. I wish the stand was more durable.

If your looking for a cooler for a 15" Laptop then it is big enough, but with a 17" it was to small. The pad itself was thick for the level of cooling and there is no way to control the speed of the fans. There are much better coolers for the price online and wish that Best Buy would carry a better selection. I cannot recommend this product.

For the price it's not bad and I'm comfortable with this brand. I think they should add more features for that price though.

I would tell people to get it if they travel with a laptop.

Keeps you cool with laptop on lap for hours. Very sturdy.

Works great in cooling down the Laptop when you have it on your lap. Nice to use around the house. It is light weight but a little more clunky to take around with you.
