Fan started making noise after 2 weeks. Had to return for a new one.

I wouldnt waste your money on this product. Sure its quiet but it doesnt cool my computer at all. I barelly feel any air movement at all & it doesnt cool the entire bottom of my laptop.

Is affordable to the average consumer.... might be better offerings

Advertised as 17" but is too small for a 15.5" PC.

A bit weak on the output, but it is versatile enough.

The fans seem to be operating , however I cannot feel any air circulation. and my laptop is not being cooled down.

Overly priced and poorly made product. A week after I bought it one of the fans stopped working so only half the laptop stayed cool. I threw it away. Waste of money.

This is a great concept, but the the fan stopped working after one week of use.

USB connector was broken off making the product unusable. this item had obviously been broken and returned to the store where they tried to pass it off as new.

I have had 3 of these, the 2nd one turned on 2 times for about 5 seconds each. The first and 3rd did not turn on at all. Do not buy this product.

Do not buy this product. I'm taking mine back. It does not keep my computer cool. My computer shuts down when it gets hot.

This is the worst chill mat I have purchased thus far and this is my 5th.

Bought this for a laptop that is occasionally used for games. It just doesn't do anything to cool the pc.

I noticed a difference in performance on the first day. I streamed three epidsodes of The Newsroom (great show) one right after the other and my computer ran like it was brand new (almost 1 year old). The battery life oh my HP is great, I was able to run on battery for the same amount of time even though the USB fans were plugged in. The pad fits in my computer bag with the computer and does not add much bulk. The pad also kept my legs cool when sitting with the computer on my lap.

This cooling mat does not cool the laptop at all as it is supposed to.

This Chill mat not only keeps my computer cool but gives you the chance to change the angle of your computer. It is very compact and fits perfectly in my computer bag.

This was a pretty good product, slim, quiet, and pretty effective at cooling. The USB cord could be a tad bit longer if you want to connect to the back of a laptop. I used to have the older Targus Chill Mat (model: AWE55US) and I feel it provided a bit more airflow. I also liked how the older models vent area covered most of the top surface, as I feel it helped with ventilation and cooling. As much as I'd prefer an adjustable, compact version of the old chill mat, this is a pretty good product, at a pretty good price.

I have a warm running laptop and I need this chill pad to keep it cool. This is my second chill pad. The first one, another brand, the fans got dirty and very noisy and I had to replace it with this one. Very quiet.

Every laptop needs a chill pad to reduce the heat. Heat is damaging especially over time. The processor and memory tend to create a lot of heat which in itself is self damaging. A good chill pad will reduce the laptop's temperature for long lasting, better performance, and your comfort. This mat is very good. It's quiet and has a unique lip at the end to keep the laptop from slipping down. This is a very practical feature. You can adjust the back end of the pad up to allow better airflow and make typing easier. Though, I found adjusting difficult with my 17" laptop on the pad. I had to take the laptop off the pad to adjust. This is not a big deal, but this design could be improved. The current design might be a benefit since the pad would not easily fall down to the lower position. It's comfortable on your lap. Using the free utility "Speccy", it reduced the heat on my laptop by about 15-20 degrees. The construction is mostly plastic, but solid, which is good for reduced weight. The big negative for this item is the price. There are other chill mats available, but this one works fine. The features you might want in a chill mat are pass-through USB (so you don't lose your USB slot), adjustable back height, quiet fans that cover most of the bottom or designed to draw-out most of the heat, fits your laptop, reasonably priced, made so the laptop does not slip off, is comfortable, and is well constructed.

I have a 17" laptop and it fit ok on here. The cooling pad worked well for a couple of months, but one day the fans started to whir very loudly. If I slap the top of the cooling pad it begins to work again with less noise. Is an ok overall buy, but disappointed.
