I really like the fact that its light, looks nice, dual fans, and has the ability to be angled or flat. I use it in the angled position most, which is great for me.

Does exactly what it claims to do: Make my laptop cooler. I have an old 17" laptop that runs hot and is always in contact with whatever surface it's sitting on; therefore I got this little accessory to help it stay cool and it does a good job. My laptop is 17.3" and it does just fine even though the packaging claims 17" is the max. Definitely keeps things much cooler.

My 17" laptop fits nicely on the Chillpad and the fan that runs keeps my laptop nice and cool. I highly recommend.

i use the laptop outdoors and it still shuts down from overheating periodically. I thought the chill pad would help, but it mostly just circulates air around the laptop. does help a little, but really only a little, no major change which is what i hoped for.

I have two different laptops and one size does not fit all. The Toshiba is too big for this mat but the Acer is a perfect fit. Therefore, you must measure your laptop before you make the purchase.

I grabbed this hoping for the ability to cool my laptop, but the small fall proved ineffective in doing so. I ended up going with a Cooler Master with a fan that can had control setting for the same price and am much happier.

I bought this cooling mat because it said it fits up to 17" laptops. but it is alot smaller than my laptop. It seems to work well, but soetimes it stops working and I have to unplug it and replug it to start it up again.

Works as advertised keeps internals cool. There has been no over heating of processor.

Fits a large laptop better and more comfortably than my previous cooling pad. Although it was a little pricier than I expected, I have fewer problems with my laptop sliding off or being too big to fit (i have a 17" mobile workstation). It also keeps the temperature much cooler than my previous cheapo model.

use this fan on my ps3 keeps it cooler. I play hours on ps3 never gets hot.

It does keep my laptop cooler than without it.Not as cool as I thought it would (with two fans). The noise this thing makes, is crazy. Sometimes when I plug it in it is way loud, other times it is not. The noise is not constant. At times I have to feel under the fans to make sure its still on. You do lose one USB port as well. The price does not match the quality of the product. I am already looking to replace it.

I have had to reset it only once so far. I have many devices running off it, it seems to handle the load thus far. I would recommend this device.

It seemed a bit small for a large laptop, but the overhang is more of a cosmetic thing. Occasionally makes a vibrating noise upon powering up the computer, but unplugging and replugging the USB power cord a few times seems to fix it.

I have purchased previous targus cooling mats. they are better than most. However the fans start to make horrible growling noises this one began growling about a month after purchase...pretty annoying. I wouldnt pay 39 dollars for one again.

I bought this for my HP laptop with a 17" screen. One of the main reasons I chose this cooler was because it was one of the few which was big enough for 17" laptops. However, once I received it, I realized it was actually too small. The laptop fit on it barely, leaving no room on either side. The fans worked by plugging into a USB port. The fans were quiet and did their job until the fans quit working about 6 weeks after buying the product. Also, the USB port that I plugged the mat into is now nearly useless. I'm not sure why, but since disconnecting the mat, other USB items, just don't want to fit in the slot properly. Bottom line -- DO NOT buy this product!

Decent product, solid build, fans help if you have an intake on the bottom of your computer but for a macbook, not so much. I will be returning mine only because my 14" y410p laptop slides right off (doesn't catch on the lip). Would keep it if that weren't the case.

This is the best investment I have made to protect my lap top. This keeps the computer cool as a cucumber!

its a great item, a bit pricey but it is well worth it.

This worked great for about a month. I bought it to replace a Targus - Laptop Chill Mat - Black/Gray, Model: AWE55US, SKU: 9427042, which lasted me for about two years. After about a month of using this one the fans have become unbearably loud. Only occasionally does it become quiet, but for me it's usually too loud all the time, not just at start up. Plus the plastic hinges seem flimsy and seem like they'd break after continuous use of folding and unfolding the chill pad.
