This laptop "Chill Mat" is really a great product. If you use a laptop then you should invest in this unit. It is far superior to an older unit I have in that it keeps the laptop cooler thereby increasing the overall life of the battery. A hot battery is a dead battery. The price of this unit was in line with the benefits the unit provides. No more hot lap!

This solves the problem of hot legs when using a laptop on my lap. It will drain the laptop battery if used without a laptop prower supply.

The only thing I can really say about this product is; It's great for people that work with there laptops in vehicles to keep the laptop off the seat for more air flow. The tilt feature makes it more comfortable to type with when sitting at a table or desk. Fans have a decent amount of air flow, not an excessive amount, to the bottom of laptop.

While watching my dad use his laptop, it did not appear that the viewing angle was optimal. There was also a significant amount of heat being generated from his computer. Many of the laptop stands are cumbersome and awkward to use. They also did not appear to be well made. This Targus Chill Pad has been a perfect solution. The dual fans help to keep the laptop cool and a simple one step lever raises your laptop to a comfortable height. When you are not using it, it folds flat for storage. My dad uses it all the time. Just remember though, you will have to charge your laptop more often as the chill fans run by USB.

It works on my Asus just fine. The slim design makes it easy to transport and fit in a backpack. Noise level is low. I feel the fans could be more powerful but that's just me. As far as keeping my laptop cool the product works as advertised. I can feel hot air being shot out the left hand side out of the way of the way of where your hand may be if your right handed and using a mouse.

Overheating can cause damage to your laptop and even shorten its life span. This one works great, sits at an angle, and can still be used in your lap, if that be your case. It's definitely a winner.

I love my new chill pad! The adjustable tilt makes it so much easier to use my laptop on a desk or my lap. It's extremely comfortable and makes less noise than the fan built into my laptop.

I use my laptop for long periods of time and the Targus chill mat works as advertised. Even without the use of the fan, it works great. The ability to slant the mat comes in handy as well.

False sizing on package is confusing when purchasing. Otherwise I've been mostly happy with my purchase. Great to keep hot laptop off the legs and thighs. Recommend plugging in laptop while fans are in use to keep battery from draining. Not terrible.

Excellent fan. It keeps my laptop very cool. I have a 17.3 inch Acer laptop that I play games on whenever I am not home so my laptop is guaranteed to heat up. With this fan, my laptop only feels warm after using it. What I really like is that the bottom of the fan is a fully covered surface area with the fans above it. To give an idea, I have this other fan I used to use that had large feet on it instead of flat surface area. So when I set the fan on my bed, for example, the comforter would go up into the fan stopping the fan from moving sometimes. This fan has the flat surface area so I never have to worry about it. It's well worth the buy.

I needed something to help cool off my gaming laptop. Read over several reviews online. I decided on this one. It works great and did not break the bank. Well worth having.

Have a laptop that likes to run hot, and notice a real slow down in performance when it does! Bought this chill pad and it has really helped with the heat! My laptop doesn't get to the point where it slows down anymore. It also has this neat tilting feature that makes your laptop sit at an angle for better typing and seeing the screen, and then folds for easy transport! Really like that feature! Overall a really good product!

The design of this chill mat is great, and I love the fact that it's USB powered. I also enjoy the fact that the mat has 2 different positions to hold the computer (slanted or flat). The fans work great, and definitely keep temps. low. If you buy this and your computer doesn't fit exactly, you can use rubber foot pads (like the ones used for lamps, etc.) and it'll hold your computer just fine.

A decent cooling mat powered powered by a USB plugin which attaches to your laptop. Seems to work fine, no overheating issues and noise is acceptably quiet.

It does what it's supposed to do...keep my laptop cool. We are chillin over here with this product. The fan is very quiet and I love that it can lay flat or tilt up.

I find this Targus - Dual Fans Space Saving Chill Mat for Laptops up to 17-inch to work perfectly for what I wanted. It light weight, portable and good looking.

This laptop cooling unit is very helpful when using laptop in lap. It allows for longer use without overheating the unit. Lightweight so easy to carry with you.
