This is a very good cooling pad for the price. I liked that it had quiet, dual fans. In fact, you couldn't always tell if it were on. I would have liked if it had an indicator light. It is made of a soft material so it is comfortable to hold on your lap. It said that you could use it flat, or open at an angle. It did not work for me if used flat because the air couldn't circulate. I had to get used to using it at an angle. But, overall, it's a good product.

I like this product, it keeps my laptop from over heating since I work from home for 8 hours a day & then for my personal use. Glad I bought it.

I have a 17.3" laptop that had a problem with getting very warm. This product has been doing a great job at keeping my laptop cool. This product suits my needs and I am very satisfied with it.

Overall, this is a good product. It keeps my laptop cool, but I feel like it's a little too bulky on my lap.

Keeps the laptop cool - it was formerly shutting down from overheating - that's fixed with this product.

I've lost count of how many Targus fans I've bought. They just up and quit working on me. But I have to have one, or my laptop with bust into flames. While it's actually working, it does cool off the middle of the laptop, where the fan are located. But the area by the "mouse" is still very hot because the fan doesn't reach it. Also, if I have the lid up too far on the laptop, it slides right off of it. It's ok, but could be a LOT better.

I think this product works great for its purpose. Its very thin, and the fan is extreamly quiet.

I like the way this product flips in the middle so that I may have a slant when viewing my laptop.

The Targus chill mat keeps my computer cool, and is not bulky when attached. I need to keep my computer on for long periods of time, and it keeps it cool and does the job!t

Over all a good pick for to provide additional cooling for my laptop. Not overly expensive.

The sturdiness seems to be very good. Most of the twenty dollar cooling pads I have used lasted 1-2 years until the fans started to scrape against the inside plastic as it began to give in to pressure. There is lots of ventilation space, so the lower power fans may be just fine. I say "lower" power compared to some of the other products I have used as I can feel the difference between the fans with my hands.

I was having a problem with my laptop getting pretty warm. It even at times would overheat and shutdown. After getting the chill pad, I haven't had this problem. It seems to have corrected the problem. This one is better than one I purchased a couple of years ago.

The product does its job and keeps my laptop cool from what it was before (burning hot!).
