Buy it if you use it

Nothing special. Might be a problem if the webcam is not on the top of the screen (above the keyboard - some gaming laptops) or it's a rimless design (like Macbooks). In the latter case could be too thick.

Tried on three different monitors and in order to get the fit right I had to cut off part of the cover ends. They should offer more sizes.
