It is compact enough to be called a sleeve but with the front pocket and the arm strap, it almost folks you to believe it is a legitimate laptop bag. It works great!

The only thing wrong is when I went to check out it was a different price & when I approached the cashier that was the price & I even showed them the pic!

The pocket in the front is an added bonus but it is kind of hard to put items in this pocket. Still doesn't detract from usefulness of the sleeve.

Sometimes I even put it in my Back Pack too.

So Good I Bought a Second!

It works wonderfully to provide just a bit of extra protection to my laptop when I'm on the go and for storage for some papers I might need as well. When my wife got a new laptop and was looking for a protective sleeve, I immediately went out and bought a second one of these for her, knowing it would fit the bill perfectly. 5-stars hands down.
