The sleeve fits the laptop perfectly and the rugged exterior material of the sleeve is what caught my attention, along with the exterior zippered pocket on one side. Other brands did not have these features. The padding provided to give some protection from falls is another good selling point. Also, the zippers for the main package move back away from each front corner about two inches to allow the laptop power plug the be inserted into the unit without having to pull it out of the sleeve.
