Lo and behold best buy had the one I needed and it works like a charm. And to boot when I upgrade the charger is interchangeable with other brands.

Tragus universal adapter

Great power adapter

I went to Best Buy, and found this adapter, which has different fittings for different things. It fits my older laptop perfectly.

Business Trip Save!

Was nearly to my destination, so I went to the local Best Buy and sure enough, they had a universal adapter. This adapter for ASUS fits my machine perfectly, and saved my trip!

The only complaint is that the tip does not have any locking mechanism so the cord easily falls out of the head inserted into the computer.
