Then the power cord no longer charged the laptop. The only way I can get it to charge is to twist the adaptor plug where it connects to the port. Once I find the right placement, it charges for 10-20 seconds. Then I have to start the process again. So, charging takes a very long time. Also, the adaptor disconnects from the cord once in a while. I don't recommend this adaptor at all. I encourage the reader not to buy it. I have a Dell power cord then I will take this one back.
