This type of device is needed if you have USB 2 or 3 type devices you want to connect to your new 2016+ MacBook pro which utilizes Usb-C connections only! Another one of Apples mistakes for if I new how much trouble and expensive I would bought a 2015 MacBook Pro instead. So if your buying a new MacBook Pro in 2016 or newer you will find your self probably in need of this sort of device. It works

The hub works well. It would have been to have two holes so it could be attached. The cord was two short to rest on a desk. My USB port on my computer was too high off my desk.

Plugged in and works perfectly. I have an external monitor, thumb drive and usb mouse all plugged in and works great.

Well it is a USB HUB. We had too many devices not enough ports and this did the trick. It works well and does the job just fine.

I bought the USB 2.0 hub because my new HP laptop has only one USB port. The hub works exactly as expected. It's very handy and at good price. I didn't need/want the fancier powered USB 3 version. The only downside has been that the pigtail is not very flexible. I'd like it better if the pigtail was a bit more flexible. On one machine the USB port is horizontal. On some other computers I have, it's vertical. Either way, the four additional USB ports have been helpful.

Fits my travel needs, when you are on the go and you need more ports. I have not found the cord storage but it folds back for ease of packing.

Great for adding multiple devices, thumb drives or wireless mouse. Great product!! Great space saver with its slim design!!

Needed this for my Microsoft Surface book 2 as I had used all available ports. Does the job and works excellent.

Very easy to install (plug and play). Simply needed more USB ports and this was a great solution. Absolutely no issues.

I've been looking for a USB splitter for awhile and was going to buy one off Amazon (which was cheaper then this and got decent reviews) but I didn't want to wait for it to ship, so I headed down to my local store and found this. It was on sale and when I got home it was seamless. Worked perfectly for my headsets, wired mouse and external hard drive for my laptop! Haven't tested the speeds, but it honestly gets the job done for me. Overall solid product and not cheapy materials like others.

I needed some extra ports for my iMac. This does the trick but it's tough to access from the back as the cable could be longer. Its still good enough for my use.

Needed something to plug in extra USB plugs. This is convenient and easy to use. Also small and compact so easy to pack around.

The targus 4 port USB 2.0 hub is small effective and easy to use - anyone looking to purchase a product with multiple USB spots.. should definitely consider this one

This works great with both my dock at my desk and laptop when traveling. Speedy and easy to use

We purchased a PS4 hub and realized that it isn't compatible with external hard drives because USB hubs can't pass the power on to the hard drive. This hub worked extremely well for what we needed. We plugged the hard drive directly into the PS4 and the hub into the 2nd port. Now we have plenty of ports and great performance. This hub is also great for anyone who needs more ports on their PC or laptop but also works well for the PS4.

It's nice for when you have a laptop with few usb ports. Works great with my surface pro.

I've had this item for about 5 months and so far it has been great. It's easy to travel, small and lightweight.
