Posted .Hello, this is a DP Alt Mode dock. Meaning that it does not require drivers. Instead what is needed is a USB-C/Thunderbolt port that supports DP Alt Mode. Essential tech for your laptop

Made of metal and by a name that I trust for quality. The SD card ports make this essential for moving photos while still charging my laptop and still has more room!

Went into the store with my knowledge and explained to the samsung in store rep Michael. The two of us gathered information on several docks and tried them out. Narrowed it down to the Targus DSU200TT. We tried it out in store to confirm it would work with my Samsung z fold 5 and it did very well even worked with mouse and keyboard. Michael was great to do business with. Thank you Michael.

I bought this in best buy la cantera San Antonio location, after checking with the store assistant. Looks like it is not supporting the Macbook pro 2018 since it got thunderbolt 3. This Targus docking station will only support thunderbolt 4 port.

It also didn't work; I don't recommend it. Well, for someone who makes backpacks, how could we expect it to work

No Dual Monitor for MacOS

The best it'll do is two external displays that mirror each other so you only get your laptop screen and one other unique screen. All other functions work.

Posted .The USB-C Dual HDMI 4K Docking Station with 100W PD Pass-Thru does support dual monitors on macOS. For Macs without MST (Multi-Stream Transport) Support it will be mirrored dual monitors. If you have MST then you can get extended. Our recommendation if you need dual extended monitors is to look into our DOCK182 or DOCK192. Does not work as advertised with Macbook Pro

Posted .The USB-C Dual HDMI 4K dock will support 2 extended monitors on most systems. However, with most MacBooks it will not as MacBooks do not support MST (Multi Stream Transport). To get dual extended monitors with those MacBooks we would recommend something like our DOCK182. This is displaylink based dock and will enable dual extended monitors. Posted .The USB-C Dual HDMI 4K Docking Station with 100W PD Pass-Thru is a DP Alt Mode dock. This means that the host device (laptop) will need a port that supports this Mode. If your laptop has a Thunderbolt 4 port that it should have that support. Otherwise you will need to check your laptop specs or with the manufacture to confirm.
