The cord is WAY too short and hard to use. Very disappointed

Posted .Please make sure that the laptop the Dock is being used with is fully up to date for both the operating system and the manufactures recommendations. This dock is designed as a travel dock so the cord is short to better accommodate being put in a bag, briefcase for travel. I asked a store associate if it would be compatible and was told that it was; but that is not the case and thats why I am giving it 1 star. I need a spwcific output in order for this device to work.

Posted .This dock uses DP Alt Mode that is in the USB-C/Thunderbolt port of a laptop. Not all laptops have this compatible port if they are older laptops. However, we do have docks that use software that can be downloaded. Please contact our customer support team at 877-482-7487 Monday thru Friday 10 AM to & PM EST. They will be happy to help you find a dock that works for your system and meets your needs.
Not Worth The Money

Posted .For this docking station the host laptop will need to support DP Alt Mode. If DP Alt Mode is not supported then it will not work. Posted .This hub is designed more for laptop not gaming stations. It could be that that USB C port on the Steam Deck is not a DP Alt Mode port and that could be why it would not work with your set up.
