This case functions well, slim, good for home or office

I’m not liking this product. At the time I bought my tablet this case was my only option and I wanted to protect my IPad. This cover is very hard on the bottom and is just not what I wanted.

Purchased this cover for temporary use until my leather case arrived in the mail. This case is bulky, but does provide coverage. If you don’t mind nd the bulk, go for it!

No openings for speakers, but that doesn't impact the sound too much on the iPad 10.5 maybe if your a avid movie watcher on your iPad I would suggest another cover due to the speaker holes being covered

I do carry the iPad with the case on in a bag as well. I am used to a Otterbox. I do feel like if it did take a fall that I’m not sure it would bounce and recover without damage.

I would like to express my displeasure with the Targus Versa-Vue Classic case for the new iPad Air (10.5”). I have been a loyal Targus customer for many years, and this is my fifth different Targus case for iPad case for different iPads myself and my family have owned. I have always bought the Versa-Vue Deluxe cases, however they don’t have the deluxe version available for the new iPad air, so I went with the non-deluxe version. There are a couple of important reasons why this case is inferior to the deluxe version. Most importantly, it lacks a positive closure mechanism (the built in elastic band) instead using a weak magnetic clasp. This pops open frequently, and will pop open when dropped, making the iPad vulnerable to damage. (I had to buy a black elastic hair band to put around the case to keep it closed, which works, but is a complete hassle.) Secondly, the deluxe version had a leather-like feel to the material which 1. made the case look more expensive than it really was, and 2. it acted as a non-slip grip. The black smooth vinyl on the non-deluxe case feels like it’s going to slip out of my hands all the time. (It has once already.) The “Pleather” on the deluxe case felt more stable while carrying it closed as well. I hope Targus will come to their senses and produce the Deluxe version for the new iPad Air 10.5 and iPad Pro 10.5 as soon as possible. If so, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

this case fit my ipad, but doesn't always close well, so my ipad uses more battery power than it should

This new cases won´t feel great quality like the leather cases on the past models, feels more plastic, and looks like wont last long

Not cheap but won't wake the ipad when you open the lid! Returned and exchanged for a Speck model.

Only thing I got this one do it would stay clean wipe off easy and it stained not sure why

Works as advertised and I am happy with it, but would like to see a secure pen holder

Fair protection-screen gets quite dusty, tho. And a little awkward to prop up iPad and use

I have an older IPad and the holder for it is unavailable. I like it much better.

Cover was very nice, but the fastener kept flopping over in front of screen.

I returned this case for my new iPad. My old Targus cover was very stable and easy to handle. The newer Targus is 'floppy'. Holding it you easily lose control and can drop it. Not great for traveling either. I ended up with an Otterbox.

I brought this for my wife along with the iPad pro she stated that this products design was not what she wanted. She wanted a case that could carry her iPad pencil
