Searching for a fairly tough case for work, but I deal with chlorine and wanted something that would work without putting the side that touched the screen in contact with surfaces I set it on. This filled the bill, and has so many features, I couldn’t believe it! The magnetic flap holds the Apple Pencil in place, but there is also a loop on the rear side for securing it more securely if desired (like for packing it in a bag I suppose). You open the case and it has several angles you can set it up at, AND you can rotate (360 degrees!) to a portrait of landscape orientation! The materials are QUALITY, and feel very nice to the touch. I like this better than my Apple folio!!! If you fold it open to hold it one handed in portrait, there is a convenient elastic strap to slide you fingers in for a secure grip!!! I just LOVE this follio

Targus makes great cases and this is no exception! The quality and feel is superb and honestly the best part is the rotational ability of the case. Sometimes I want or need a vertical workflow on the iPad (like when reading news or working with spreadsheets) or sometimes I want it horizontal for watching YouTube or editing a video timeline. This case allows me we rotate between the two layouts while still taking advantage of the built-in tilt stops. I’ll probably need to pick up another one of these, because I owned a previous version of this product for my 1st gen iPad Pro back in 2015 and it eventually was beat up from my heavy use. I went to purchase another in 2022 and unfortunately it was no longer being made. So, that being said, when I’m 7 years into my M1 iPad Pro and I am looking to replace the case, I want to make sure I have a spare on hand because these cases tend to outlive their production runs.

I would highly recommend this case. It’s reasonable priced and is very solid and sturdy. It’s easy to install and very functional. I have been using it for a while now and I love how I am able to put it varies position to view the iPad. I am also able to get to the charging port with no issues. Thanks again for this great product. It even comes with the pencil holder, I feel confident that my iPad is well protected.

I have had a lot of Targus cases over the years! I’ve been happy with all of them. However I have to say that there is something truly different with the quality of this case that I love. It is not only beautiful to the eye! Targus has made an upgrade to this case in overall design. It is sturdy and professional looking! Most importantly for my iPad Pro it feels completely safe from any and all damage! I am completely satisfied and think this case is outstanding! Sometime I just look at it and marvel in the overall design! This case is definitely worth the money!

Love that it rotates. So adjustable. I’ve used it for 3 years…dropped my iPad 100’s of times…take it everywhere I go and totally protects it. Not a scratch on it! Great product!

Tried Apple magic case & returned. I love this case bcuz it stores & charges my Pencil, stores & protects my ipad and easily rotates to whatever any viewing angle i need. And it looks great! I love it ((:

The description online needs to be updated because it says "3rd generation 2018" when on the packaging in-store it says 3rd/4th/5th. In the photos provided, I am using a 2021 12.9" iPad Pro (5th generation) and it fits fine! I made sure to include a picture of the model number just in case anyone is comparing it to the one on the Targus website (it's the same). The Apple pencil (2nd gen) has the ability to charge on the side which is a plus. All sides are covered and the iPad is secure in the case! No complaints so far!

Great case. Cleans off easily. My tablet stays in well. My only con is that it slides down often when trying to watch a movie etc.

My husband had one and I realized I needed one very nice sturdy. Holds the iPad up when you’re sitting it on you lap!

Great case for those who do not want a full keyboard on their iPad. Provides lots of protection and will keep the display safe and covered. Has multiple different stand options and you can even flip it around and have it held up in portrait.

The quality of this case is good, however it leaves smudge marks as shown in the photo and it doesn’t come off easy. I wish the magnetic flap that keeps the case closed and holds your Apple Pencil in place was stronger and better in general. I find my pencil moves from the charging place when I put it in my backpack. Sometimes I fear losing the pencil. For that reason I’m giving this case 4 stars. However, if you don’t use a pencil then this case would work just fine.

Love this case. My favorite feature of this cover is that there’s a rotating disc built on for both horizontal and vertical viewing while still using the the same easel feature. As a musician, I use the vertical format a lot for sheet music. I also like that the flap closure protects the tip of the iPencil. The cover has a nice hand feel to it and is easy to clean

I love my iPad case, if holds my pad secure in place and it can fold to be displayed as stand. Just perfect for my needs

Not sure who the genius At Targus is but they were definitely forward thinking when they made this case for the 2018 iPad Pro. They made the Back camera cutout large enough to fit the 2020 Generation 4 iPad Pro camera setup :) Fits nice, material is good quality, and I like the 360 degree orientation adjustment. The Apple Pencil charges perfectly through the case. Also like the built in hand strap! Just a well thought out product!

This is a really nice case for a reasonable price. The texture feels really nice and it is really good quality. It is sturdy and designed to be user friendly. This case was really good for me because I do not want a magic keyboard.

This is a great iPad cover. It has a built-in stand and an easy-to-use magnetic closure. It completely covers the iPad when closed and has a lot of padding, so you feel like the iPad is well protected.
