iPad Mini 4 would not fit

Struggled trying to make it fit and was unsuccessful. Concerned about damaging the iPad so stopped trying. Returned case to Best Buy and explained the situation to an associate. He indicated that he could probably make it fit but that I would not be able to remove it. Decided that it was not the right case if it was that difficult and returned it for a refund.
