nifty case
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i wanted a lite but decent case for my ipad mini 2 and this case fits the bill. the one drawback is that the lower lip is at the bottom of the ipad mini in widescreen mode, so you may need to move it to pause/restart when watching on the ipad

Clasp Breaks

After about 4 months the plastic clasp that holds the iPad to the surrounding case broke. The plastic connector is round and let’s you set the iPad down and spin it to sit in portrait mode. That plastic piece broke and now the iPad isn’t connected to the case rendering the case useless. My son would pick up the iPad and let the case hang, but he didn’t roughhouse with it. I bought a second identical case thinking the first had to be defective. Same thing. It lasted about 3 months. Extremely poor design. They need to remove that swivel and firmly attach the iPad.
