WYGWYP. Good for tight spaces
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Per product description, the TV box should have contained HDMI cable as well but missing in my package. Had to return first one and get another one because of HDMI port issue on first one. Didn't find HDMI cable on both packages, this means the cable is truly missing on all packages for this model maybe. Would have been nice if the power cable was a bit longer. Picture quality is not that great even though It says 1080p/Full HD. Audio seems decent. Because of the cabinet size, I had to choose 32". Otherwise higher sizes would have more options and better quality just paying little bit extra.

Decent product except for the control.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is quite decent for the money. Took some time to get the set adjusted. The control is terrible, barely works, Recommend if the price is really low.

Not great software, very unresponsive.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s fine... you get what you pay for. Roku’s software is incredibly buggy. My TV is constantly freezing on certain apps or restarting during shows when it crashes. Yes - this TV can crash on you and reboot. Sometimes it is unable to turn the volume up or down ... not sure if this is a software issue or just a cheap processor. It even sometimes takes a few attempts to turn the TV off because it’s “thinking”. Not sure I’d ever buy a TCL TV again and I’ve never really cared for Roku.

Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I understand that in most cases you get what you pay for, and I really didn’t think this would be one of those. I bought this TV, and it was my first. I bought it specifically for gaming and no other use. I have only used it for gaming, and 95% of the time my headphones are connected to my controller. But for some reason, despite never using the television speakers, and never having the volume above 10, it sounds like I blew a speaker out?? I have not had this TV for even a month. I’m very dissatisfied

Smart tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really don’t like the white light on the bottom of the tv. Hooked it up to Direct Tv and still have to use the remote to get to the satellite function, kind of a pain. Would have rather spent more for a different better brand.

Disappointed in this TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not impressed with this tv. The picture color wasn’t good and neither was the sound. I returned the tv and got a different one that I was much more happier with. Will not buy this brand again.

Beware of Roku system format tv
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the tv itself looks good, the fact that it’s a Roku tv is a real pain. I had never heard of this type of tv prior to my purchase. I had o get a different cable box as Roku system wouldn’t show guide with box I had. Biggest problem is I need two remotes as each time you turn on the tv, the main screen shows up. You then must toggle to “cable box” to watch from my cable provider. Then I must use my cable providers remote. I wish I had not purchased a Roku system tv.

Read this review before purchasing this TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this TV for almost 4 months. For the last two months, I have had problems with the sound being distorted or no sound at all. At first, I thought it was related to an internet connection issue, because I was having some issues with my internet connection around the same time that the sound issues started. However, even after the internet connection issues had been taken care of, I continued to experience the problems with the sound. Of course when this started, was right after you could no longer return the TV to Best Buy. They only allow 30 days, and most people know that with a TV, unless you watch it more hours in a day than you should, you would actually need more than 30 days to be able to know if the TV works properly. Now, I have been dealing with TCL North America, emailing back and forth, sending video of the TV while the "sound" issues are happening, and just received the following in an email: "Thank you so much for the video clip. I have relayed the small video clip to our escalation team for review and they found out the issue and approved the warranty claiming. So here is what we will do: We will be sending you there a box that will be there within 2 to 3 business days to pack the TV and along its body is a prepaid label to be used to send the TV to our depot for fixing. Turn around time will be 7 to 10 business days for fixing and testing of our engineers before it will reach you perfectly working again. If we will find it irreparable, it will be replaced." So, it states at the beginning of the email that "they found out the issue and approved the warranty claiming." Then stated, "send the TV to our depot for fixing. Turn around time will be 7 to 10 business days for fixing and testing of our engineers before it will reach you perfectly working again." However, the last sentence states, "If we will find it irreparable, it will be replaced." So first they are going to repair it (never explaining what is wrong with it) and send it back to me working perfectly, but then they say if it is irreparable it will be replaced. So I may or may not get a perfectly working TV? You might not want to purchase this TV.

Slow, Unresponsive, Underpowered, Buggy
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So it appears I'm experiencing the same problem as many other after initial using this for a short time. In the beginning this worked well but shortly after, the app freezes constantly to the point where now it's practically unusable. I initially thought it was my internet connection but the connection is always excellent and connection would not send me back to the main Roku screen in the middle of a show. This is norm now I can no longer us the TV.

Have to reconnect to wifi over and over
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is great in all respects except for one: connecting to wifi after booting up. Each time I press the power button on the remote, I wait for the TV to turn on (fast!) and then for it to connect to my apartment's wifi (slow!). More than half the time, I have to navigate to Settings > Network > Check Connection, then wait for the check connection process to complete. Most of the time, the TV then connects to wifi, and then I can watch TV. Past Roku devices I've owned (not to mention other items like my laptop, iPad, smartphone, etc.) have not had this problem

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Our TVs are compatible with most Universal and cable remotes. Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control select functions on the TV. You can visit https://support.tcl.com/us-remote-codes for more information. If you do not see your specific remote, you would need to contact the remote's manufacturer to obtain the remote code from them. Hope this helps!

Awful remote control.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this TV. The remote control has no number pad and there is no universal remote that could take care of this problem. I need a magnifying glass to read the volume and mute buttons and they are on the side of the remote. The remote's plastic case is so slick that with the smallest pressure on the remote it goes flying across the room. TV picture is ok at best. Sound is not good, but not awful either. DO NOT BUY THIS TV!

Posted .Hi Lobo18,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Currently, our smart TVs do not support the direct input of channel numbers for OTA. However, if your TV is connected to the Internet, you can press the left arrow key to populate a channel guide and navigate channels this way. Additionally, you can enable "favorites" for over the air channels so that your most-watched channels will automatically appear towards the top. To enable favorites you would go to Home>Settings>TV inputs>Antenna TV>Favorite Channels>Enable. Hope this helps!
