Buggy Roku TV, slow software

You may need an extended warranty

Roku is not for me

Would like parent control over all streaming apps

For parental controls on the Roku interface and other streaming channels, you can visit https://support.roku.com/article/208755938-how-to-block-content-using-parental-controls for more information. You have the option to add a pin that is required to be entered to download a streaming channel or make a purchase. However, parental controls within specific streaming channels would be a feature or limitation of that specific channel. Hope this helps!

There are options available to adjust the picture settings to better fit your personal preference. You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. You will find settings for picture size, brightness, picture mode, and more detailed picture settings under the advanced picture settings section. Additionally, you do not need to sign up for Hulu to use the TV. In fact, it is completely free to activate the TV, and completely free to create a Roku account. Good TV For The Cost

However, if your TV is connected to the Internet, you can press the left arrow key to populate a channel guide and navigate channels this way. Additionally, you can enable "favorites" for over the air channels so that your most-watched channels will automatically appear towards the top. To enable favorites you would go to Home>Settings>TV inputs>Antenna TV>Favorite Channels>Enable. Hope this helps!

Stay Away - Buggy and Slow

I’ve owned this for about 18 months, and I can tell you that it is a slow, buggy, PITA. YouTube and Netflix routinely crash, there is a huge amount of latency (on the order of 10 seconds) with the remote (at time, not all of the time). There are better alternatives out there, so I would stay away from this. And yes, my WiFi is plenty fast (450 Mbps) down/ 30 MBps up).

Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Turns off and on

Need to select input every time you turn it on. No channel numbers on remote. Universal remote would not acquire needed code to work. Bought tv for mother in nursing home. Worst tv for older person. Would take back but nursing home is back on lockdown. Will return when open again.
