    Purchased this TV because of reviews and picture quality. Installed at my home and worked for 1 day. Had to return for a replacement, but decided to go with a more reliable LG model.

    Remote will drain batteries - check internet

    Never buy this TV - may seem inexpensive, but after one year (coincidently after warranty) the remote drains the batteries after 2 days. This is a big problem documented on the internet. Never had a problem with any remote ever. They will not send a new remote and seem uncaring about it. But you can buy a new remote, which i am sure they are making quite a bit of money on their defective remote controls. It's super shady.

    we are considering returning it! The color and sound are fine, but the responsiveness to commands from the remote is abysmal and the roku freezes up!

    Possible defect

    Something seems to be wrong with the product. 3 times now it has gone into a "hung state" while playing a show. Once on Disney +, twice on Netflix, where the play gets choppy, the sound gets out of synch, and then it freezes. I know its not the WiFi signal, the tv is 6 feet from our 200MG/s WiFi router, and another Roku Tv (Sharp) is upstairs and works better than this. Going to try first exchanging it for another one hoping this one is just defective.

    Freezes up all the time !

    HORRIBLE TV ! I purchased this TV during the Black Friday event, 2 months ago and now the TV freezes up on installed apps and especially on the antenna app !!! Did everything to reset the TV. Also called TCL directly, which they were not much help ! Going to the store to request another brand of Roku TV ! Good thing that I purchased the warranty !

    poor tv for antenna

    this has to be one o the worst tv's i have ever seen....i purchased this tv to use with my antenna and streaming services...........the antenna part just is the worst i have ever seen the picture locks up breaks up so much it is hard to watch a show on the antenna thing...i have had an antenna for years and have not had the problem i have with watching over the air stations like i have with this tv........would return it but i may have had it to long......try to sell it and purchase another tv that really works with an antenna

    Great TV

    I purchased this TV for my disabled sister. She was really excited to get this TV. The TV itself was great! I purchased a Protection Plan just in case. Unfortunately the TV fell and broke which is covered but I haven't been able to reach a live person after receiving a call saying that due to the virus, they can not fix the TV. I was given a phone number on the message to call, but when I call no one picks up and there's no voicemail. I've never had a problem like this with Best Buy before. I'll think twice before I purchase anything from them again. I now have a broken TV that I can't use. Very dissatisfied.

    I didn’t realize that thr smart TV was conncected with the roku and that you MUST pay 69 bucks to roku to even watch anything. I did not like that- I shouldn’t be made to purchase another roku membership- even when I already have a roku box

    There are some serious problems with this Roku TV. It freezes up a lot. I will do something as simple as raise the volume and sometimes it will take a full minute to react. I don't recommend!

    Get the warranty if you can

    Tv died almost exactly a year after buying it. Warranty repaced it outright which was nice but had it been a day or two later i would have been SOL.

    Bought just over two months ago

    I purchased this tv just for the headphone jack and it already is not working. We have tried everything to fix the issue. Every time I call TCL, there are no help and hard to understand. They all say the same thing, push the mute button on the remote! I did this, I unplugged the tv, I restarted the tv, you name it. It is definitely the tv because we tried 3 plug in headsets. The sound on the tv works until you plug in the headset. It is so frustrating that everything seems to be a piece of junk these days. There is terrible customer service and things break within the year. TCL used to be rated so well. Did the company sell out?

If you are trying to accommodate multiple people's hearing needs at once, you can download the free Roku app on your smartphone or tablet to use with your TV. By using the app you can use voice search, voice control, and experience private listening. You can currently connect up to 4 phones with the Roku app to the TV, and everyone can connect to their own phone with wireless headphones to experience private listening.     Best Buy is the worst.

    This TV was delivered on July 15. We were redecorating the room that we were going to put the TV in so it sat until we were ready for it. On September 1 we opened the box for the first time and tried to set up the TV. It did not work at all. No lights. Nothing! I called Best Buy and it is past the return date and nothing can be done. I paid $166 for a useless TV that never worked. Out of luck! I have to ship it back to TCL so they can "FIX" my brand new TV. I will never shop at Best Buy again, which is fine because I'm sure they'll be out of business soon anyway.

    Open Box Fair means you can't use it....

    So I basically just paid $150 for a TV that doesn't come with a power cord or a stand. To get a replacement cord and stand it would cost the same price as buying the TV new. I realize part of this is my fault for not realizing that Open Box Fair means vital pieces could be missing - but why would you sell something that clearly doesn't work? TV is going back and I will look elsewhere to purchase as this is truly misleading.

    Tv keeps restarting automatically. No solution.

    The tv starts to restart automatically essentially cant use it anymore. Manufecturer warrenty expired, geeksquad extended warranty expired as well just one month ago. I wonder why it started having issue just now. I looked it up and this is a common problem with TCL tvs, unfortunately tcl customer support couldnt fix the issue either, its a piece of junk now.

    Bugs in the Box

    Let me first start by saying our local store was awesome on handling the situation and the bugs did not come from their store. We bought this TV to go in our daughters newly made over room. Open the box to set up the TV and there was literally 2 inch of dead roaches in the bag that covered the TV inside the box. Needless to say we were not happy about the roaches that were now on the new carpet and in her room. We immediately took the TV back to the store and got a different brand. We have purchased many TV's from this store and many items have never had any issues so this happened outside of the local store.
