Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Get a SAMSUNG!!

Streaming only stays on for 3 to 5 minutes before the entire thing shuts down and you have to start over completely. I have reset the television several times but it doesn’t make a difference. TCL blames it on the Internet but every other TV in the house works perfectly.

Freeze Ups and Remote Control Issues

Initially it was great. The Roku interface is nice. Sadly this past week it started having serious issues. Sometimes the TV will refuse to turn on. I can hit the reset button to resolve that. But now the TV is stuck on the home screen and doesn't respond to the remote control aside from on/off. I'm shopping around for a new TV. It won't be a TCL.

Every few seconds, it would go out of focus.

I only give a FAIR rating because it eventually started working.

Waste of money!

Set up confusing, service is difficult to reach, requires additional components, and worst of all it smells/literally, like something is burning. Every time zi walk into the room the odor coming fro the tv is unpleasant. Because it is small, Bedt Buy insists I bring it in for service if needed but U am physically unable to do so. Buyer beware-Save your $ and sanity and do not buy this tv !!!

Dead for no reason

This tv is only is used every other weekend maybe 5 hours a weekend, that's usually about 10 -15 hours a month. Great color until it died. Watching tv and then it just shut down, no power at all. So disappointed with this product. Tried all the tricks to reset it and still no power. I could understand if there was a power surge but everything works fine except this tv. Such a waste of money.

In order to use the smart features of this TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Given the opportunity, we could have looked into this for you and tried to help you set up your TV. TCL - 32" Class 3-Series JUNK TV

On the 13th month, it has gone to crap. I did a factory reset to restore it and it worked for a day and back to the same freeze-up. It's almost like an update took it out. It's persisting to add the Disney Plus channel. The moment it turns on, it jumps to the add channel screen and freezes up. It's a major waste of time trying to reset it. Spend a little extra and get something that will last.

Not great.

No Sound

Excellent TV - Great Bang for the Buck

I didn't want to spend too much money but wanted the ROKU integration, since we've been using a ROKU for over 10 years now and am completely used to it. I also wanted 1080 dpi so... this seemed like a good buy - however my concern was the name TCL which honestly I had never heard of. I went ahead with the purchase and got it. Excellent picture quality and simple will setup with the remote. I paired my ROKU Ultra Remote as it is a bit bulkier than the one that came with the unit. I like having the mute button on the provided remote. The Ultra's didn't come whit that so will have to deal with it as I have in the past,. But I like the feel of the ultra's remote so am using that instead. I can use the one that came with the unit as a back up if needed. Otherwise, this TV, so far, is solid all around, and a great bang for the buck. Great sharp picture, easy to use and setup. If you are used to the ROKU, this will be a piece of cake. If you aren't used to a ROKU please understand the remote doesn't have numbers to do channel selections or a small keyboard to fill things out with. You have to use the arrows, OK button and the * (options) button. It's not hard - but if you're used to a regular TV's remote - this will be different for you. Patience... you'll get the hang of it. Glad I took the plunge and got it. It's perfect for a bedroom. However for my preferences, anything larger than the 32" would be too big for the room. If you get for this unit and you don't have a ROKU, setup your ROKU account before setting things up. You might save some time in the setup process. If you want to cut the chord, I'd recommend this TV.

TV must be connected to internet to use!!!

Even if your computer is connected to the TV, the TV still needs to be connected to the internet itself!!! When you select your DVD player it tells you that it's not connected before it starts playing your DVD or it tells you there's no disk! It has a side bar with options that it won't let you select!!! This TV is NOT SMART AT ALL!!! And it is INFURIATING!!!

Disappointed

Problem with the tv slow reacting to the remote it came with, so I activated my current roku remote, it's still lagging. The audio and picture are off track. Taking this back for a refund.

Did not get the stand so it is (almost) useless...

I made a big mistake! I did not check if all the parts were included as mentioned on the box and in the specs on the best buy website. So she did not get the stand to support the TV. So we did not connect. Now I need to find the missing part or mount on the wall - which is not cool... Not a big deal... Just disappointed. I will return it to the store and see what happens...

Stay away from OpenBox

It still had all their login information it would not let us set up the system until we did a factory reset. Not worth the small amount saved. It’s supposedly was a geek squad certified which I find odd when it still had the previous purchasers information on it.

Dont buy

Unboxed this a few hours ago (Dec 25th) and plugged it in. TV turns on and shows the TCL logo and disappeared. Tried unplugging, resetting and troubleshooting with no luck. TCL customer service was closed. I resorted to YouTube and no answers. Removed the TV stand feet and returned it to the box. It's going back to BB in the morning and will purchase another brand TV.
