To enjoy private listening you simply click private listening in the app, and attach headphones to your smart phone or tablet. Per industry standard, TV screens are measured diagonally. This TV is 32" diagonally, and the other dimensions with the feet attached are are as follows: (W x H x D) 28.9" x 19.2" x 7.2". The width of the bezels may also account for different dimensions on TVs with the same screen size. Hope this helps!

We're sorry to hear that the apps on your child's TV keeps freezing. This is definitely not normal behavior for one of our TVs. You can first try uninstalling the streaming channels that are givving you trouble and then reinstalling them. To do this you can highlight the streaming channel on the home screen and press the asterisk (*) button on your remote, then scroll down to 'Remote channel'. You would then need to go to Home>Streaming Channels>Search Channels>Type in the streaming channel you are looking for. You would then select the streaming channel and select 'Add channel'. tv had a temporary problem finding ota stations, tcl customer help sucked. problem just disappeared on its own, perhaps a auto update, and has been working just fine since. problem lasted 3 weeks.

We are truly sorry that you are not satisfied with your TV. As you’ve discovered, a 720p (1266 x 768) TV is pretty low resolution by computer monitor standards. TCL ROKU TVs first role is that of a steeaming TV. We think it would perform better in that role.

I have had this TV for a few months and there is now a line going through the picture on every channel. Nothing makes it go away. I use the TV only about 3 times a week, so it does not get a lot of use. I have never had this happen to a product so fast. I don't like it besides the fact that I got the TV because it would run the Xfinity app. The TV does not do it, so it is a big waste of my money.
