    Don't Ever Buy from BestBuy!

    This is not about the set as much as it is about BestBuy. UPS delivered the "excellent condition" new but open box unit today. The only thing in the box was the tv. No legs. No manual and no remote. I called them and ended up being told I needed to physically take the unit to a local store where a manager there would decide whether to refund me or provide me an alternate. No option to get the missing part or to return this and have another one shipped. No way to escalate the call to someone of authority. I was asked to go to a lot of trouble for their mistake. I knew I should have bought it from Amazon instead.

    Did not realize that Google TV does not allow you access to the Xfinity.com app (as of this writing). I should have done my research.

    Best Buy disappointed me today !

    This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with Best Buy. I have received my tv but missing a remote. I was on the phone with the bestbuy customer service for so long after telling them what’s going on with my purchase. I was told to stop by at the closest store to pick up tue remote . Stopped by at the Seekonk Location and the manager told me to call the customer service since he can’t help me . Called the customer service and was told to bring the tv back for a return or refund, but couldn’t send a remote . I have wasted more time running around for remote than what I paid for a tv !

    Avoiding TCL

    I was hopeful for this TV, but within 24 hours the wifi no longer worked. Couldn’t scan for networks or even toggle the wifi on. Ethernet didn’t work either. Despite factory resets and troubleshooting, there was no luck and i had to return it. Probably a defective unit and not the norm, but it’s turned me off to TCL as a whole now.

    TV is washed out, poor viewing angles, bad audio

    TV has terrible viewing angles, screen automatically adjusts colors and brightness even with all visible settings off, and everything looks cloudy. If you have your tv lower or sometimes look at the tv from another room, you will seriously struggle to view this as the display looks super light and washed out unless you view it head-on. The audio on this tv is awful, sounds like things are being played in a plastic cup, and it's most audible from behind the display. The only thing I liked about this TV was the Android/Google TV OS. Do yourself a favor and get something better.
