    This ac unit has worked very well to support our central AC that’s on its last leg. Easy to control from your phone, I love being able to adjust from work. I haven’t used the remote control yet. Definitely would recommend.

    We had a 5000btu window unit that cooled the house more than this 8000btu portable unit. It also makes random weird loud noises for no reason. On actual hot days, it cant even cool like 200sqft

Our portable ACs are designed to be self-evaporating, meaning most condensation is automatically reused and expelled through the exhaust system. However, in very humid environments, the unit may collect more water than it can evaporate. In that case, a drain tube may be needed for continuous drainage. If there is frequent water buildup, or if the unit indicates the tank is full, we recommend connecting the drain hose. Hope this helps! Thank you, Alison TCL Customer Support

    We have it in our bedroom, approx 300 sq ft This unit cools well enough if you set at 69-70 degrees. My husband prefers setting at 66, and we had to drain the water 2-3 times a night because it would automatically shut off and do the FE display, which requires unscrewing back nozzle and draining excess water on a cookie sheet. Not fun at 2 and 5 am. Other than that, it works.
