Meh... OK for a low price TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as an upgrade to a 720p non-smart, 32" Insignia. First impression is the picture quality is better on the Insignia. Still tweaking picture settings to get what I think should be a better picture. Sound quality is lacking, regardless of how you have it set. Bass & treble adjustments would be great. The built In Chromecast does not work. When I attempt to cast to this TV, I'm getting a "source not supported" message from a PC. Google home app on Android phone won't find the TV either. I have two other sets with built in Chromecast, and don't have this issue.

The picture is clear with great color and the android app works very well. I had been using a Nexus player for android on my old TV with excellent results and this works even better. Adding a Roku smart soundbar was a bit tricky but I figured it out after visiting several sites. Turns out there isn't a dedicated page at the TCl site for instructions (not one I could find at least).

At the store, the sales rep was very helpful, and I had checked reviews before I went in. The picture is clear and the size fits my console perfectly. I had the Geek Squad connect everything for me. They were professional, on time and did an excellent job. This is the second TV I've gotten from Best Buy and I highly recommend them. I did get an email to dive into my new TV, etc. but it keeps coming up as content unavailable.
