    Love the Android interface

Decided to try the Android version rather than the Roku version that I have owned in the past. I really hope to see more android TVs; because they are much more useful than the Roku counterparts. For instance, I can toss large MKV movie files on a thumb drive and this TV will play it no questions asked. The Roku model I am always needing to re-encode them to work. The interface is certainly not as smooth as my Nvidia Shield, but it's workable and I enjoy having similar interfaces on all my tvs without needing to connect a shield to each one. The remote is good, BUT not as good as the roku or the shield remote. They could work on the remote. Wifi range appears to be terrific. It can reach my home network further than my cell phone can. Speakers are fine. We have installed this in our camper using a $9 fixed mount. So far it has been great, we are going to get the 40" as well for the main trailer area.

So far this TV has been great. The picture is excellent, the features are many, including blue tooth, and the value was good. Great to have a TV with apps already set up and ready to go. Speaking of set-up, the tv walked you through the very easy process. Was unsure about the TCL brand as this is our first TCL purchase, but so far we are more than happy.

This is a great TV. I purchased for my daughter for College since I broke the last one. Great screen, easy to set up and more importantly light to carry in the box up several flights of stairs. The apps already installed was great. To load the channels, it was simple. Just press a button and a few minutes later, the channels are loaded. Picture is really good also.

I've had this tv a little less than a month now and haven't had any issues yet. I've download extra apps from google play, which took me awhile as there were alot to choose from. The google assistant voice button on the remote is pretty cool and came in handy a few times already. Picture and sound are both great. As far as the remote and navigating thru the menu, I'm still getting used to it. It's also bluetooth compatible, but i have yet to connect my wireless headphones to it. One of the main selling points on this tv for me was the USB port. I've put most of my dvd collection on USB so i can just plug & play, and I've come across other tvs with USB ports that do not support the mp4 files or even mp3 files, but this tv does so that is a great big plus for me. Overall, this tv was an excellent choice and the sale price fit my budget.

Good overall quality for the price. We use it in a bedroom and have a higher quality tv in our living room, so I can easily compare the two sets. The picture is good but not incredible. The sound is decent for a bedroom but any other area would require a sound bar. In fact I’m considering one in the room now. Easy to set up. The remote has a couple awkwardly placed buttons. When you would intuitively expect to press a key for on/off, you’re unexpectedly launched into settings. Same type of thing with moving to home page. It’s just poorly thought out but not the end of the world. It’s easy to set up and light to carry.

Just received the TV this afternoon. I love everything about this television. Great price, good quality sound and picture. Many smart features and blue tooth capability. I don't have cable, I only use this for Hulu, Netflix and YouTube and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm not tech savvy but found little difficulty figuring out the many features. If your'e looking for a mid-size flt screen, this is the television for you!

This item was very easy to set up, pictures very clear, a lot of features, no real need cable or fire stick, because I am getting a lot of channels with this TV, and the price was good also, very light and what I like most about this TV, it can mirror with my android phone, one little discomfort I am experiencing, is the remote, it is a little small and the rotation buttons are a little difficult to used when I am not looking directly at it. but I think in time of continuing used, I'll be able to stroll more easily,

Easy set up & replaces many lost Over air stations

After losing most over the air stations due to sales for broadband, etc., this TV allows me to get many stations I had lost without paying monthly fees. And best of all, I don't have to cast from my phone or other devices. Set up was easy, getting apps that were already on a phone or other devices on my network. In addition, the voice search option is very helpful after getting the nuances of it. I also have a Chromecast with Google TV on an older Vizio TV, There are slight differences, but this unit is quite adaptable, and as i understand it, CNET indicates that Android TV/Google TV continues to evolve and expand. I keep finding new stuff to add, so the adventure continues. At first I thought the sound was a bit mushy, but it is adjustable in settings. In addition, it was much lighter weight than I expected, making it easy for a 73-year-old woman to move it upstairs and lift it up on a bedroom dresser.

TRUST ME - CANT BE BEAT FOR THE PRICE!!!!!

For the price I paid (approx 230$), I have to admit it is a GREAT TV... perfect for the bedroom! The picture is just phenominal for the price point. Easy to set up and a breeze to mount to my wall. No dead pixels, and perfect right out of the box. The only CON I can think of is the fact that this is the ONLY MODEL TCL (out of 100s), that you cannot download the AT&T Streaming App to ... NO clue why, but after researching it post purchase, others have said the same thing. Makes NO sense, and want to know just out of sheer curiosity why ONE model out of their entire lineup, doesnt permit the AT&T app ... weird, huh! All other apps download just fine! Anywho ... luckily we had a few Firesticks etc laying around .. so no big concern ... but COULD be reason to lose 1/2 star. BOTTOM LINE ... FOR A COUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS, YOU SIMPLY CANNOT ... I MEAN CANNOT BEAT THIS FAIRLY LARGE TV AT THAT PRICE FOR ALL YOUR KIDS BEDROOMS, MASTER BEDROOM, GUESTROOM, ETC ETC! As for Best Buy ... my local store in Springfield, PA yielded me the opportunity to deal with Stefan ... very knowedgeable, professional, and fast fast fast in accomodating me top to bottom! Overall a GREAT TV, and wonderful experience after replacing all TVs AND appliances following a house fire! (DEFINITELY an experience that relieved MUCH of the stress surrounding such a calamity!!!) A+++++!!!

Excellent picture quality, lightweight unit. Small frame allows for a large viewable area. Smart TV apps load quickly and smoothly. Menu is smartly organized and easy to use. Set has multiple customizable settings as well as pre-sets, both video and audio. Only 2 HDMI so a hub my be required if multiple gaming/streaming devices are linked. All in all an excellent buy, great bang for the buck!

PROS Slim and light Easy to set up Has all major streaming apps installed or ready to be installed plus tons of other streaming apps available. Price Sound is really decent but I use a sound bar anyway. HAS THE BEST WIFI AND BLUETOOTH CONNECTION of any tv I've ever had. It connects with ease! Fast start up Easy navigation Plenty of ports CONS Picture is not the best, the sharpness is fine but you just can't get the colors and light quite right. (Not surprising for such an inexpensive television) however it is good enough if you don't spend your whole life watching television. Some shows really look good and others just look okay. Everyone's preference is different and I was used to a really nice picture before I purchased this TV. It's growing on me after a month of use. The remote is the perfect size but the buttons are very touchy! If you drop it,sit on it, or pick it up without pretending it's a live grenade you WILL change the channel/volume or return home, or turn it off completely!

I work in the AV industry as a system designer/installer so I see a lot of products. This is NOT the best TV in the world or anything like that but for a entry level TV and at this price I was frankly expecting much worse. This TV simply has a decent bright picture, very good smart platform (Android) which seems to run faster than the ROKU platform on my other "4" series TCL. Motion blur is visible on fast action but not awful. The sound output is surprisingly loud and good enough to fill a mid-sized room/patio but not very deep in the bass range (which is to be expected). The remote is simple and feels solid. For my use I bring this in and out to the patio where it is a mostly shaded area and it works great. For under $200 it is crazy the performance and features you can get. I chose this over similar priced 4k units because really the 4k is irrelevant unless you are sitting less than 6' away which I am not and the larger pixels let more light through so for my use this 1080p brighter screen was a better choice.

Great picture. This tv has all the features you want in a smart tv. You can voice search and it has all the streaming services you could want built right in. Plus the feature of chromecast allows me to stream right from my phone. The price is unbeatable for all that’s packed into this tv. We have the 55” version of this tv in our living room

Very happy with this TV. Clear picture, easy setup. Got the Android version for the built-in bluetooth to use with my airpods. Wish it played nicer with my ios devices as the Roku version appears to. But the Roku version requires that you connect using the Roku app on your iphone to use bluetooth headphones. Nonetheless I’m happy with the purchase.

it's a good size for any bedroom. If you can navigate through an Android smart phone, this TV's operating system should be a breeze to use. It's 1080P resolution is good enough for me, since there is yet not a lot of 4K content out there. The viewing angles and the glare on this set are not that great though. It is best viewed from a straight center position. I wall mounted ours for it to point straight to our bed and it looks amazing. Very surprised with the quality of this TV. You do have to adjust the picture settings to achieve the best capable picture. I would not recommend it as a living room set. Bluetooth capability makes it easy to connect to wireless sound devices. In addition, you can connect a wireless keyboard and mouse via its usb hub and it has voice search!

Great TV for the price. I was shopping around for weeks looking for a great deal and this was the one. Its lightweight, less than 15 lbs so I can mount it in my garage or basement with ease. Full HD, easy set-up. If I find another one on sale in the future, I would definitely pick it up.

Pretty good product, great size for a bedroom. Sounds decent. Image is pretty good and software is updated and not laggy much at all. One warning, if you use this TV and want to use a soundbar in front of it, the remote won't work if the soundbar blocks direct view from the remote. /:
